Mark Karadsheh, M.D.Orthopaedic SurgeonBoard Certified Hip & Knee Replacement Specialist
Mark Karadsheh, M.D. (pronounced “Karachi”) is a Harvard-trained staff orthopaedic surgeon at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak and Troy, Michigan that specializes in minimally invasive joint replacements of the hip and knee, as well as complex revisions of previous hip and knee replacements. Dr. Karadsheh, son of internal medicine physician Charlie Karadsheh, was born and raised in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan where he played competitive tennis and attended Lahser High School. Through his affiliations with the Harvard, Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, and William Beaumont Hospital, Dr. Karadsheh has looked to advance research in joint replacement technology and clinical outcomes. He is the husband of a former nurse, Mallory Karadsheh, and the father to 2 children, Owen and Emma.
In the clinic, Dr. Karadsheh’s goal is to make sure all non-operative forms of treatment have been considered before rushing patients to surgery. In addition, he thinks it is essential that the patient has an adequate understanding of the pain they are experiencing and what to expect from treatment. In the operating room, Dr. Karadsheh’s goals are to minimize perioperative pain and provide shorter recovery times to maximize function and restore an active lifestyle.
